If we went to a medical doctor and he said that we needed a hole drilled in our arm and filled with plastic/ceramic, we would get worried and question why and how it got like that!!! Why is it accepted wisdom to have a tooth drilled and filled WITHOUT asking why???!!! Sure we can repair teeth and we can do it very well, but is it not more important to figure out why and how it got like that in the first place?!
