A review of a patient:
In his 20s, athletic, which we had to place fillings in the past and recall on a regular basis – after we controlled inflammation, with dental appliances, is now en route to a recall ONLY once a year. This shows a need to manage both bacterial and inflammatory components of any disease!
After all if our problems are solely bacterial, then mouth rinsing regularly would eliminate decay and periodontitis, but it DOES NOT!
